Stripes - by Aleksi Allan

Thick ribbons of black and white stripes curl across the sheet, folding back on themselves at the top and at the foot. Behind them a red field and a blue field meet along a curved edge, and the two colours show through wherever the ribbons part.

Drawn digitally in flat line work, the stripes bent and spaced so a flat surface reads as a curve. Aleksi Allan is a Finnish artist and graphic designer from Tampere, whose work is colourful, playful and often very minimal. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
