Messy Kitchen Table Still Life - Natascha Baumgärtner

A tall jar of pickled gherkins sits at the centre of a blue table, surrounded by the remains of a long evening. A wine glass holds a splash of pinkish-red wine, a cigarette stub leans in a small tin, and an apple core, a lemon wedge, a crumpled striped wrapper and tangled string lie scattered about. Behind it all, a chequered wall of teal and deep navy squares completes the cool, painterly scene.

Created by Berlin-based digital illustrator Natascha Baumgärtner, whose expressive, painterly scenes turn the leftovers of everyday life into vivid, slightly surreal moments. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
