Birthday Indulgence Nap - Natascha Baumgärtner

A person lies face down on a pink tablecloth, their brown hair sunk straight into a layered birthday cake ringed with lit candles. A slice of pepperoni pizza rests on their back, while toppled red plastic cups, a chocolate bar, a lollipop, scattered sweets and paper plates lie all around. The vivid pink setting turns the aftermath of a party into a funny, slightly melancholy scene.

Created by Berlin-based digital illustrator Natascha Baumgärtner, whose expressive, painterly scenes turn the leftovers of everyday life into vivid, slightly surreal moments. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
