Yellow Head - carlos enrique gozalo ara

A face in flat yellow turns in profile at the centre, its hair drawn in heavy purple and red waves and its mouth open. Orange planes fold behind it like the walls of a room, a hand grips a pale pole at the top left, and the ground on either side is the grain of bare wood.

Drawn in outline and filled with flat colour, the grain of the support left bare around the figure. Carlos Enrique Gozalo Ara was born in Madrid in 1964 and has worked as a painter since 1987, exhibiting in Madrid, Barcelona and Marseille. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
