Intimate Morning After - Natascha Baumgärtner

A woman lies asleep at the top of the frame, half-hidden among rumpled blue and white striped sheets that fill the whole picture. Around her lies the debris of a long night: a bare foot and an outstretched hand, a juice pouch with a straw, a pair of glasses, a pink bra, a stubbed-out cigarette, a toothbrush and an empty bottle beside a splash of red wine. A tuft of yellow hair peeks in at the corner.

Created by Berlin-based digital illustrator Natascha Baumgärtner, whose expressive, painterly scenes turn the leftovers of everyday life into vivid, slightly surreal moments. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
