Drift Division 02 - MelancholyMachinations

A black sports car stands at a Japanese street corner at night, headlights lit and a red circular emblem on its door. Neon signs in Japanese glow along the left edge, a cherry tree drops pink blossom over the road, and red traffic lights repeat into the dark.

Digital illustration in a retro anime line style, with flat colour and a magenta and pink neon palette. Melancholy Machinations is a Slovak digital artist whose work merges illustration, graphic design and contemporary pop culture, drawing on retro anime, neo-noir cinema and gothic iconography.
