Blue Bear Hot Dog - Natascha Baumgärtner

A shaggy bear with blue-black fur stretches diagonally across the picture, its head tilted towards the viewer and its wide eyes fixed on something just out of frame. One paw clutches a hot dog in a golden bun, a red sausage topped with a zigzag of ketchup. The windswept fur, the peach-coloured snout and the small ears are painted in quick, expressive strokes against a pale icy-blue background.

Created by Berlin-based digital illustrator Natascha Baumgärtner, whose expressive, painterly scenes turn the leftovers of everyday life into vivid, slightly surreal moments. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
