Whimsical Man with Bird - Natascha Baumgärtner

An elderly man is shown in side profile against a deep green background, wearing a bright yellow sou'wester and a lime-green coat. Wisps of white hair escape from under the hat, and his long, rosy nose points forward. Perched on the brim is a whimsical white bird with a shaggy, feathery tail and a yellow beak, peering down at him. Thick, textured brushstrokes give the portrait a playful, characterful feel.

Created by Berlin-based digital illustrator Natascha Baumgärtner, whose expressive, painterly scenes turn the leftovers of everyday life into vivid, slightly surreal moments. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
